The coconut wood bowls are handmade & crafted by skilled local artisans in Ubud Bali. They use traditional tools & techniques to transform raw materials into beautiful and unique pieces of functional art. This is my second batch of bowls that I have purchased from the same woodworker Father & Son team In Ubud. I hand paint them with quality acrylic paint. They are then sealed them with artists quality matte varnish

The designs on the bowls are minimal, being less like my large scale paintings and more like my smaller ink on paper works. i draw symbolism and stroke from my larger pieces and place these within the bowls in more space rather than amongst other happenings. Slightly decorative, functional if you like
